Returns and Refunds Policy
Last updated: 30 August 2026
This policy applies to purchases from 12 Volt Hub, operated by Lawson Services Pty Ltd (ABN 19 080 656 800).
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major problem, you may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement. If the problem is not major, we may repair or replace the product or provide another remedy within a reasonable time.
These rights are separate from and may continue beyond a manufacturer warranty. We will not require you to deal only with the manufacturer where we have responsibilities as the seller.
Faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods
Contact us as soon as reasonably possible with the order number, a description and useful photographs or video. We may reasonably assess or test a product before confirming the remedy.
Where a customer has a valid Australian Consumer Law claim involving faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods, we will not charge return freight, restocking charges or supplier costs. Where required by law, we will arrange or reimburse reasonable return costs. Retain postage receipts and obtain instructions before sending unusually large, dangerous or high-value goods.
Renogy and other supplier-dispatched returns
Contact 12 Volt Hub before returning a Renogy or other product dispatched from an Australian supplier. Do not send it to the address shown on the parcel without instructions. Depending on the issue, we may nominate the supplier’s Australian returns address, arrange an assessment, or provide another return process. Your Australian Consumer Law rights remain with the purchase from 12 Volt Hub.
Change of mind
12 Volt Hub does not provide refunds or exchanges where a customer has changed their mind, ordered the incorrect product, found the product cheaper elsewhere or no longer requires the product.
Please check product specifications, compatibility, measurements and quantities carefully before ordering. If you are unsure whether a product is suitable, contact us before placing your order.
In limited circumstances, we may agree to accept an unopened and unused product at our sole discretion. Approval must be obtained in writing before the product is returned. Return freight and any applicable supplier or restocking costs will be the customer’s responsibility. Products returned without prior approval may not be accepted.
Cable, conduit, heat shrink and other products cut or prepared to a customer’s requested length cannot be returned for change of mind. Special-order, customised and clearance products are also excluded.
This policy does not exclude or limit any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
