Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 29 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to the 12 Volt Hub website and purchases from 12 Volt Hub. 12 Volt Hub is operated by Lawson Services Pty Ltd (ABN 19 080 656 800), Australia (“we”, “us” or “our”).
By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms together with our Shipping, Returns and Privacy Policies. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Products, compatibility and advice
We sell 12 volt electrical products, cable, connectors, circuit protection, prepared wiring packs, looms and related equipment. Descriptions, compatibility information, calculators and builder tools provide general guidance. Manufacturer instructions and published product ratings take priority.
Vehicles, accessory loads and installation conditions vary. Before installation, customers must confirm suitability for the vehicle, equipment, cable length, current draw, environment, battery chemistry and intended use. Contact us before ordering if unsure.
Electrical and installation safety
Incorrectly designed or installed 12 volt systems can cause fire, equipment damage or injury. Products must be installed according to applicable laws, manufacturer instructions and sound automotive or marine electrical practice. Correct cable sizing, fusing, fuse placement, cable protection, polarity, ventilation and connection security are essential.
Unless expressly sold as an installation service, the customer is responsible for installation. We are not responsible for loss caused by misuse, incorrect installation, unauthorised modification or operation outside published ratings, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Orders and availability
An order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline an order where goods are unavailable, information is incorrect, a pricing error is obvious or fraud is reasonably suspected. If we cannot accept an order after payment, we will refund the affected amount.
Check selections, quantities, delivery details and custom instructions before ordering. Once cut cable, a prepared loom or another customised product enters production, changes or cancellation may not be possible.
Renogy and other supplier-dispatched products
Selected products, including Renogy products, may be dispatched directly to the customer from the Australian supplier’s distribution network. This allows us to offer the supplier’s current range without holding the item at our premises.
Where a Renogy product is shown with free delivery, standard delivery of that Renogy product to an eligible Australian address is included in its advertised price. Remote-area, restricted-access, urgent, redirection or other non-standard delivery charges may still apply where disclosed before dispatch.
If an order also contains 12 Volt Hub looms, cables, connectors or other goods, those items may be dispatched separately and may attract their own delivery charge unless free delivery is expressly shown for those items or the cart. Separate tracking details and delivery dates may apply.
Supplier availability can change. If a selected supplier-dispatched product becomes unavailable or materially delayed after ordering, we will contact you with the available options, which may include waiting, substituting with your approval, or refunding the affected item.
Pricing and payment
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. Freight and other charges are shown before payment. Promotions and free-delivery offers may have stated conditions. Payment must be authorised through an available checkout method.
Prepared and customised products
Prepared looms, terminated cables, cut-to-length products and application-specific packs may be made or allocated for an order. They are not normally eligible for change-of-mind return after cutting or production begins. This does not affect rights for faulty, incorrectly supplied or misdescribed goods.
Delivery, returns and warranties
Our Shipping and Returns Policies form part of these terms. Estimated delivery dates are not guarantees unless expressly agreed. Manufacturer warranties operate in addition to Australian Consumer Law rights. We will not require a consumer to deal only with a manufacturer where we have obligations as the seller.
For a supplier-dispatched product, contact 12 Volt Hub before sending anything back. We may provide a return address nominated by the Australian supplier or manufacturer so the matter can be resolved efficiently.
Website use and intellectual property
You must not interfere with the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code or misuse our content. Product copy, graphics, photographs, wiring-pack designs, loom designs and branding remain owned by us or their licensors.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from website use, product selection, delivery delay or installation. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by law. Nothing limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia and the Commonwealth of Australia, without limiting any consumer right to bring a claim in another appropriate jurisdiction.
