Keep a serviceable fridge lead and add a secure Anderson-style disconnect yourself.
This DIY kit supplies the connector housings, terminals and retaining components required to convert a suitable two-core fridge cable for direct use with a Fridge Cable Caddy, portable battery, dual-battery system or compatible Anderson power outlet.
What it allows you to do
- Cut an existing fridge lead and fit an Anderson-style connector to each cut end
- Reconnect both halves for normal cigarette-socket use
- Disconnect the cigarette-plug section and power the fridge directly from an Anderson outlet
- Create a secure disconnect suitable for a Fridge Cable Caddy installation
Installation note: the terminals must be correctly crimped to suitable cable and assembled with the correct polarity. Suitable crimping tools are required.
