MC4-Style Solar-to-Anderson Adapter Lead

Made-to-length adapter lead for connecting fixed or portable solar panels fitted with MC4-style connectors to a compatible 50A grey Anderson-style solar input, charge controller or prepared vehicle connection.

Cable is sized by lead length to reduce voltage drop:

• 1.5m — 4mm² cable: compact connection for nearby panels.
• 3m — 4mm² cable: practical general-purpose camping length.
• 5m — 6mm² cable: heavier cable for flexible panel placement with reduced voltage loss.
• 10m — 6mm² cable: heavy-duty long lead for positioning panels well away from the vehicle.

All variants use quality copper solar cable, MC4-style solar connectors and a compatible 50A grey Anderson-style connector. Every lead is assembled and polarity checked before dispatch.

Important: Solar connector polarity is not universally arranged. Verify polarity and the receiving controller or power station’s maximum PV voltage and current before connection. Cable selection is intended for portable solar systems drawing up to approximately 13A; unusually high-current arrays require separate assessment.
